After the success of our first HDS 2013 – Hospitality Development Summit, Insignis is proud to present the 2nd Edition of HDS 2014.
Looking into the statistics for the 2013 in availability VS requirement and considering the adverse business climate in the overall Indian Economy, the hospitality Industry continues to expand, new hotels continued to open across the country throughout the year 2013 even through delays and detriments in projects.
The industry faced challenges looking into demand and supply ratios and the amounting pressure on room rates contributing to challenges in overall profitability of hotels across the country. The predicted stats from the WTTC portrays that the Indian Hospitality Industry has the potential to become number one tourist destination in the world with the demand growing 10.1 % per annum. Overcoming the challenges that threaten this growth and reaching this potential is key.
The Hospitality Development Summit 2014 will look to shed light on some of the challenges facing the industry like development in various tier cities, Technology and the innovations for Hospitality, Multi-use property development, Medical Tourism, Infrastructure funding, financial, regulatory and legal implications, new concepts in design, and energy efficiency, time share, operational challenges, marketing, cost management, customer engagement strategies and over all development of the industry that has a massive impact on the Indian Economy.
